The first time I met Marcus Ellison's friends, his childhood friend Felicia Voss sent me a digital scorecard.   "If you want to become Mrs. Ellison for real, you'll have to earn all 100 points first."   Marcus held my hand and reassured me. Once I got a perfect score, no one would ever look down on my background again.   After that, I did everything I could to fit into his circle. "Bridget, earning another 50 points will be easy for you. Don't spoil everyone's fun."   The golf course erupted in jeers and laughter.   At last, I understood. No matter how much humiliation I swallowed to earn those points, one joke from Felicia could wipe them all out.   I was done taking a test they would never let me pass.
