KALLIAS: Tangled Thread

ABSTRACT
Kallias was an ordinary office worker riding the subway home when he finished a novel he could not stand the ending of. Out of irritation, he left a harsh comment.
He did not expect the story to answer. He awakens as the Second Prince—a position that never existed in the original plot.
Determined to survive the b****y future ruled by a tyrannical Crown Prince, Kallias chooses caution over ambition. If he avoids the main characters and refuses to alter the story, perhaps the narrative will correct itself without noticing him.
But the world does not remain still. The Crown Prince grows attached in ways that feel wrong. The heroine looks at him as if she remembers something that has not happened.
And beneath the surface of the kingdom, something older than the novel itself begins to stir.
A force that binds roles.
A force that punishes deviation.
A force that may not belong to this world at all.
Kallias was never meant to exist. Yet something within him feels equally foreign.
And when the story begins to fracture, he can no longer tell whether he is changing it—or whether something inside him has been waiting for this all along.
