The year John Rogers went abroad to study, he promised me that he would marry me after graduation. His friends all said that John was devoted to me. Yet, they never mentioned that there was a younger girl at school who accompanied him every day. When he said good morning to me, he would also send a good morning message to that girl. When he was on a video call with me, he would ask that girl what she wanted to eat for dinner. At a gathering, I heard one of John's friends asking him, "Aren't you afraid that Della Dorr will break up with you?" John lazily smiled and said, "She won't."
