The woman my husband once loved, who vanished ten years ago, has returned. With tears streaming down her face, she threw herself into my husband's arms, and he comforted her gently, his voice soft with concern.  She turned her gaze toward me, putting on an air of pity as she spoke. "Now that I'm back, are you going to divorce her and make her move out?"  She assumed I was only a substitute he had found, someone who had taken the life that should have been hers. What she did not know was that every bit of comfort and prosperity we enjoyed today was something I had built and brought into this home. Hearing her words, my husband pulled away sharply, his expression turning guarded. My in-laws' faces darkened with disapproval. I stepped forward and slapped my husband across the face. "Get this mess sorted out before you dare speak to me again."
